1. Introduction

Welcome to Goldstar Transport Services (“we”, “our”, “us”).
By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”).
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our services.

These Terms apply to all vehicle transport, logistics, and support services offered in Namibia and across Southern Africa.


2. Our Services

Goldstar Transport Services provides:

  • Vehicle import transport

  • Vehicle export transport

  • Inland vehicle delivery across Southern Africa

  • Vehicle handling at ports

  • Custom clearance assistance (where applicable)

  • Tracking and updates for active shipments

We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue any service at any time without prior notice.


3. Quotes & Pricing

  • All quotes provided are estimates based on the information supplied by the client.

  • Pricing may change if incorrect or incomplete information is provided.

  • Prices may vary due to fuel, distance, customs requirements, or regulatory changes.

  • A quote becomes final only once confirmed in writing by our team.


4. Payments

  • Payments must be made in full before the vehicle is collected or delivered unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Payment methods include bank transfer, approved mobile money channels, or other agreed methods.

  • Deposits (where applicable) are non-refundable once the booking process begins.

Failure to make payment on time may result in delays or cancellation of the service.


5. Booking & Confirmation

A booking is only confirmed once:

  1. The client submits all required information

  2. Payment is received

  3. Goldstar Transport Services provides written confirmation

We will not be held responsible for delays caused by missing documents or late payments.


6. Customer Responsibilities

Clients must ensure:

  • All information provided (vehicle details, locations, contact info) is accurate

  • The vehicle is legally owned or permission has been granted for transport

  • Necessary documents (release orders, customs papers, ID, proof of payment, etc.) are provided on time

  • Someone is available for vehicle handover at pickup and delivery locations

We are not responsible for delays caused by the client’s failure to provide required documents or information.


7. Vehicle Condition & Inspection

  • A visual inspection is performed before transport.

  • Any existing damage will be recorded.

  • Goldstar Transport Services is not responsible for:

    • Mechanical issues

    • Electrical faults

    • Leaks

    • Flat batteries

    • Pre-existing damage

    • Modifications not disclosed before transport

Vehicles must be roadworthy unless otherwise agreed.


8. Delivery Timeframes

Delivery times are estimates and may change due to:

  • Border delays

  • Weather conditions

  • Mechanical issues

  • Roadblocks or inspections

  • Customs clearance delays

  • Route restrictions

Goldstar Transport Services will make every effort to communicate updates promptly.


9. Liability & Insurance

  • Goldstar Transport Services will take all reasonable care to transport vehicles safely.

  • We are not liable for damage resulting from factors outside our control, including:

    • Natural disasters

    • Riots or unrest

    • Road accidents caused by third parties

    • Customs delays

    • Towing or port-handling damage by third-party operators

If insurance is required, the client must request it in advance. Additional charges may apply.


10. Tracking & Communication

  • Tracking information provided by our team is based on available updates.

  • Tracking may be temporarily unavailable during certain legs of transport.

  • Clients will be notified of significant changes in route or timing.


11. Cancellations & Refunds

Client-Initiated Cancellations

  • If cancelled before transport scheduling: partial refund may be offered.

  • If transport has already started: no refund will be issued.

Company-Initiated Cancellations

  • If we cannot deliver the service due to operational reasons, a full or partial refund may be considered.


12. Prohibited Items

Clients may NOT leave the following inside the vehicle:

  • Alcohol

  • Cigarettes/tobacco

  • Cash or valuables

  • Weapons

  • Perishable goods

  • Dangerous or illegal items

Goldstar Transport Services is not responsible for any items left inside the vehicle.


13. Indemnity

By using our services, the client agrees to indemnify and hold Goldstar Transport Services harmless from any claims, losses, or damages related to:

  • Incorrect customer information

  • Illegal vehicle imports

  • Missing or invalid documents

  • Third-party actions

  • Customs penalties


14. Privacy Policy

All personal information collected is used only for service delivery and communication.
We do not sell or share client information with third parties except where required for logistics purposes.

15. Amendments to Terms

Goldstar Transport Services reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time.
Changes take effect immediately upon posting on our website.


16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Namibia.
Any disputes will be handled under Namibian jurisdiction.
